I'm in my childhood home. There's the hallelway to my bedroom, but it's extended longer than it usually is. I finally make it to my room, but there's only a long box for me to lay in. When I do go inside the box, a lid closes and it's pitch black. There's a hole of light at the top of my head but when I try to reach it/touch it, it suddenly goes farther away and that box I'm in gets longer. Voices start yelling and when I get closer to the white light in the hole and am about to touch it, the voices get hands and pull me away. Then I wame up.
This dream seems to reflect feelings of confinement, vulnerability, and pursuit of something beyond reach. The childhood home symbolizes a familiar and nostalgic setting. The extended hallway to your bedroom suggests a sense of elongated journey or struggle before reaching a desired goal or sense of comfort.
However, upon reaching your room, you find a long box instead of the expected space. This box represents a sense of constraint or limitations in your personal life. The darkness and the lid closing imply a feeling of being trapped or subdued.
The hole of light at the top of your head represents potential or enlightenment. Attempting to reach it symbolizes your desire for growth, understanding, or connection to something greater. However, the light eludes your grasp and the box lengthens, suggesting that obstacles or insecurities hinder your progress.
The voices yelling may represent internal or external pressures, doubts, or distractions that discourage you from pursuing your goals or desires. Their transformation into hands pulling you away suggests a force that is actively preventing you from reaching your aspirations.
Overall, this dream may indicate a struggle between yearning for personal growth, enlightenment, or freedom, and the various obstacles or self-doubts that keep you from achieving these desires. It could be helpful for you to reflect on any specific challenges or fears that resonate with this dream in your waking life.
