Yo I had a bad dream I saw I got caught by rehab again Shit It was so damn realistic But it did not scare me I felt scared in my dream tho like I would if it were to happen again for the 5th time I m sober so I felt great after waking up But before they kidnapped me I was living a weird life The buildup i had was so fuxking intense that I actually believed it I was in a school But I was old I was first friends with a underage girl who was probably 15 and helped me do everything I did nothing at school and she did all my work 🙃 We feel genuine connection But sadly I only feel that when I am dreaming We did not go physical I saw that I got relapsed because I saw 150 rupees on the ground as soon as I smoked I d Felt some of my teeth weak and I plucked them out as if they still were milk teeth. My teeth felt weak and I plucked them before getting relapsed Then I got kidnapped I saw my parents and I ran away The area was distorted, I saw nerul But the area was like HBR Layout from bangalore I ran but they caught me I had 3 options I don't remember the 2 But I remember that I chose to drown in the well but I could not fit in it and I got caught Knowing I am fucked up I forced woked myself up
Thank you for sharing your dream, and I appreciate your willingness to explore its meaning. Dreams can often reflect our subconscious thoughts, fears, and life experiences, and yours is rich with symbolism that warrants deeper examination.
Rehab and Fear of Relapse: The setting of rehab in your dream signifies a deep fear of losing the progress you've made in your sobriety. The feeling of being "caught" again indicates anxiety surrounding your recovery journey, suggesting that the memories and challenges associated with past struggles still haunt you. However, waking up feeling great reflects your resilience and perhaps a testament to how far you've come.
School and Being Older: The school setting, despite your age, may symbolize a feeling of being back in a phase of learning and growth. It could point toward feelings of immaturity in certain aspects of your life or confidence in other people helping you carry the weight of your responsibilities. The presence of a younger girl assisting you suggests a longing for mentorship or a simpler time in life—where the pressures of adulthood were less overwhelming.
Connection and Isolation: The genuine connection with the girl, albeit only in the dream, might represent your subconscious desire for deeper relationships and support. It could signify a yearning for companionship or understanding, especially during challenging times.
Symbol of Teeth: The act of plucking out your teeth before relapsing is particularly potent. Teeth often symbolize strength, self-image, and communication. Weakness in your teeth can suggest vulnerability or fear of losing your identity or control. Removing them could represent a desire to rid yourself of anything that weakens your resolve or self-perception.
The Distorted Location: The mix of locations (Nerul and HBR Layout) could symbolize how your past and present intermingle. This might reflect feelings of nostalgia, confusion, or even dislocation in your life journey. It suggests that your sense of self is still being shaped by various environments and experiences.
The Drowning Well: Choosing to drown in the well but being unable to fit indicates a struggle with feelings of entrapment or a desire to escape from adversities, yet being thwarted in your attempts. This could reflect your current feelings about confronting your challenges head-on rather than resorting to destructive behaviors.
Waking Up: The conscious decision to wake yourself up demonstrates your deep understanding of the necessity for change and growth. It suggests an awareness and desire to reclaim your power, illustrating that although the struggle feels intense and realistic, you have the control to take charge of your reality.
Your dream reflects your ongoing battle with your sobriety and the emotional and psychological struggles tied to it. It suggests that while you may sometimes feel overwhelmed or vulnerable, you possess the strength to confront your fears and remember the progress you've made. The dream also highlights a need for support and connection, whether through friendship or community, as a source of strength during tough times.
This dream serves as a reminder of both the fragility and resilience of your journey. It may be beneficial to talk about these feelings of fear or anxiety regarding relapse with a supportive friend, counselor, or group, ensuring that you nurture the connection and awareness necessary for you to continue thriving in your sobriety.
