Dreams about night symbolize the subconscious mind, hidden emotions, and the unknown. They often represent a time of reflection, introspection, and deep exploration of one's thoughts and feelings. Night dreams may also indicate a need for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Depending on the context and specific elements within the dream, interpreting the meaning can vary. Night dreams often reflect the mysteries of life, intuition, or the need to confront and acknowledge unconscious aspects of oneself.
![I was on the rooftop with Mom and my younger sister. We were just casually walking and talking. It was nighttime, and we had already had our dinner. The night sky was extremely beautiful—full of stars, very bright and colorful, and the moon was huge and shining very brightly. I was just looking up, like I always do when I'm out at night.
My sister came and teasingly said, “You really love these stars and the moon, don't you? What's so special about it, huh?” She was smirking and stared at me, waiting for me to come up with a reply so that we could start a friendly debate. I kept looking up and said, “Yeah, I really love all of it!” I didn't explain why.
Then she asked, half-teasingly and half-curiously, “What would happen if the moon collided with the Earth?” I was shocked and happy at the same time—she never asks such questions. I personally love the kind of kids that keep asking why’s—she was never one of those, and I didn't hate her for that, though. But I just wished I had someone who could talk about interesting hypotheticals and theories.
I said nothing at first and laughed (that question genuinely made me extremely happy). She added, “And yeah, let's keep it more interesting and be specific… The moon in this case should collide with the exact opposite side of the Earth from where we are now—no destruction here,” as she giggled. That made me even more happy. [I never thought about it in waking life, and I honestly don't know the answer. My dream self was sure about the answer, so she explained it confidently.]
I smiled and said, “Oh… that's interesting. You know what? It might look like the most beautiful thing you'd ever see in your entire life. In fact, the most beautiful thing all of humanity would witness. The sky… it would be colorful, glowing. Just breathtaking…” Then my smile faded just a bit. “…and then darkness. Beauty would turn into disaster in no time. You, me, everyone… gone, forever.”
She looked at me with awe—half scared and half excited. We both jokingly said, “Oh, we wish we could see that. But we'd be gone soon after.” And then I kept looking up. The sky was really so beautiful.
Then I saw Mom. She was walking alone, and I said, “So… how was your day today?” like I always do. She said, “Good!” And then we saw a sports academy exactly opposite our house, also on a rooftop. It was brightly lit; everything was colored blue and yellow. Some teenagers were playing basketball; they were preparing for a big competition.
Then a ball came flying onto our rooftop. Mom said, “Whose ball could it be?” I looked at her and wondered, “Isn't it obvious?” I said nothing. She was looking around to see where it came from. I finally said, “It came from that sports academy, obviously.” She said, “No way, didn't you see the direction it came from?!” I said nothing. Then I suddenly said, “Look, a basketball is hardly ever blue and yellow. It's definitely theirs.” She said, “Oh yeah… you're right.”
“Should I return it?” I asked. She said, “No, they already have many. They seem unbothered… look!” I said, “Yeah, you're right.”
Then I saw the owner of the academy. He was talking to one of the coaches. He said, “These kids play so well! How about our football team, though?” The coach said, “Yeah, they really do. The football team… they always lose, you know. I'm not paying much attention to them. I'm just aiming for the first prize for the basketball team.” The owner said, “Yeah, you're right. Keep going.”
That didn't sound very good to me. I sighed, rolled my eyes, and continued looking up at the sky. And the dream ended nowhere.](https://flask-aws-demo.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/uploads/88275249-fc94-4a8c-b816-96e5d986e871.png)
