I continuously dream of finding out my late maternal grandmother is still alive after her death in 1975 and when I find out I am very emotional and I call her phone number from a pay phone whoever I and she answers. I ask her why she never told me. She is still living at her same address and when I get to her house I call out to her and she answers from her bedroom. I never make it into her bedroom to see her, and I am talking to her from inside of her kitchen. I always wake up before I can go in to her.
Dreams can be highly personal and their meanings may vary for each individual. However, here is a possible interpretation of your dream:
Your dream about finding out that your late maternal grandmother is still alive suggests a longing for her presence in your life. It may indicate unresolved emotions or mourning that you haven't fully processed since her passing in 1975. The dream symbolizes a desire for connection and the need to gain closure or understanding from that relationship.
The fact that you call her phone number from a payphone and she answers suggests that you are attempting to reconnect with her on a symbolic level. The phone call represents a desire for communication and an urge to address unanswered questions or unresolved feelings.
When you ask her why she never told you, it may be representative of feelings of abandonment or unanswered queries. Perhaps you are seeking validation or closure from her, wanting to understand why certain aspects of your relationship were left unexplained.
The dream also conveys feelings of anticipation and excitement upon discovering that she is still alive. However, the fact that you never make it to her bedroom to see her suggests that there may be unresolved issues or barriers preventing a complete reconciliation or reunion. This could reflect subconscious emotional obstacles, such as guilt, grief, or a fear of facing those emotions directly.
Ultimately, the dream indicates a longing to reconnect with your late grandmother and find closure or resolution in your relationship. It may be beneficial to reflect on your feelings about her passing and explore any emotions or questions associated with her absence in order to find healing and peace.
