I was with friends and/or family abroad and in this dream I had a younger friend who wasn’t old enough to drink yet. I wanted to go to the bar and unfortunately my mother was there at the same time. She ordered a fancy cocktail and I wanted one too, except the one I ordered had a cheaper alternative to try so the man gave me both. I started drinking etc, getting to know people and I see someone I know. I was very surprised we all started talking across the bar and then he left. I remember I was starting to get hungry, so I left to go next door. Then there was someone serving hot food, who I feel has been in my dreams before. This man doesn’t feel any pain in his hands as he was an ex solider and sustained an injury. Whenever food needs fried he is just able to dunk his hands straight into the oil and not feel a thing. I somehow remember feeling really close to this man. The dream then skips along and I think with more drink being consumed everywhere is then closed. I go outside and see the man with no feeling in his hands laying dead outside. His feet have no shoes on and they’re wrapped around a light pole. I’m crying, I’m devastated. I try to kiss him one last time and he twitches to lean forwards for a kiss. His lips can’t move as they’ve already turned blue. His feet as cold as ice and as dark as the night sky. He is dead and there’s nothing I can do to save him.
Dreams can have different meanings for different individuals, as they are highly personal and influenced by our own thoughts, experiences, and emotions. However, I can offer some possible interpretations for elements of your dream:
Being abroad with friends and/or family: This may symbolize a desire for exploration, new experiences, and a sense of closeness with loved ones.
Wanting to go to a bar and your mother being present: This could represent a conflict between your desire for independence and the presence or influence of parental figures in your life.
Ordering a fancy cocktail with a cheaper alternative: This might suggest a tendency to seek value or alternate options in your life, looking for ways to maximize enjoyment or benefits without overspending.
Seeing someone you know and feeling surprised: This could indicate unexpected encounters or connections in your waking life, perhaps rekindling old relationships or discovering commonalities with familiar faces.
Meeting the man serving hot food: This individual may symbolize strength, resilience, or a unique ability to handle challenges effortlessly. It could also suggest a need for nourishment, both physically and emotionally.
Witnessing the man's death and feeling devastated: This part of the dream could signify a profound loss or a fear of losing someone or something significant in your life. It may also represent deep emotional pain and a sense of powerlessness in the face of such events.
Remember, these interpretations are speculative, and only you can truly interpret the personal meaning of your dream. Reflecting on the emotions and personal associations you have with the different elements of the dream might help you gain additional insights into its significance for you.
