I keep dreaming about highways. The overpasses, the underpasses, walking next to them, running on them, and eventually, driving on them. Sometimes I use these highways to access other parts of my dreams. I mostly take the side streets to travel to other places in my dreams. Whenever I am about to wake up, I drive towards the highway using the side streets. When I merge into the highway, I wake up. Lately though, I have been experiencing more and more traffic before I merge onto the highway. Sometimes the path to the highway had traffic, while other times they had little to no traffic.
Dreams about highways can symbolize the direction and journey of your life. The overpasses and underpasses represent different choices and opportunities that you come across. Walking, running, and driving on the highways reflect your actions and progression in pursuing your goals and aspirations.
The fact that you use highways to access other parts of your dreams suggests that you are navigating through various aspects of your life. Each time you take the side streets, it implies that you explore alternative routes or paths to reach your desired destinations. This may indicate your willingness to explore different options and find unique ways to achieve your objectives.
The merging onto the highway before waking up may signify your transition from the dream world back to reality. It could imply that you are preparing to face or tackle something significant in your waking life. The experience of traffic before merging onto the highway might represent obstacles or challenges you are encountering or anticipating in your real-life journey. Sometimes there may be heavier traffic, reflecting more significant hurdles, while other times there may be less traffic, suggesting smoother transitions and fewer obstacles to overcome.
Overall, this dream could suggest that you are actively progressing towards your goals and exploring different avenues to reach them. The varying levels of traffic may symbolize the challenges and obstacles you face along the way, highlighting the importance of adaptability and resilience in your journey.
