I wake up in my bedroom. It is darker than it usually is, and the air feels cold. I glance around the room, and I notice there is a knight standing at the foot of my bed. He is so tall that he almost touches the ceiling, and he is covered from head to toe in a suit of thick armor. But I can tell he is staring at me through his helmet, and I know on an instinctual level that he is evil. I can never go back to sleep when I see the knight is there because I’m afraid he’ll do something to me in my sleep. We both stare at each other until the sun rises, and daylight fills the room. When the sun rises, the knight pulls out a large axe with skulls on the blade that I only now realize he had been hiding behind his back the whole time. He raises the axe high and tries to kill me with it. But I fling myself out of bed to dodge it, and then I wake up for real on the floor of my bedroom.
