i was in school, but my school was hogwarts and also was covered in a thin layer of water. to get from class to class you would need to jump from floating platforms to other floating platforms, if you failed you would be turned into stone of drown in the freezing waters below. however, another you could be made, or you could be randomly unfrozen. i was trying to get to class, jumping from a platform to platform, when i realized i wouldn’t be able to make one of the jumps, still i tried and was immediately turned into stone. luckily, i was unfrozen, but another version of me had already been made and had broken up with my boyfriend, who i love very much, and instead was dating a middle aged man. i was furious. she wasn’t me she can’t just take over my life like that! and my poot boyfriend. i decided that i would have to kill her to be able to reclaim my life, because there was no way she was leaving on her own.
This dream seems to reflect some conflicting emotions and fears you may be experiencing in your waking life. Being in a school that resembles Hogwarts implies a sense of learning, growth, and magic. However, the thin layer of water and the necessity to jump from platform to platform suggests a feeling of instability and uncertainty in your current circumstances or goals.
The consequences of failing the jumps, such as being turned into stone or drowning, may symbolize the fear of making mistakes or facing failure in your waking life. This fear could be related to the pressures you feel in your academic or personal life.
The appearance of another version of yourself who has taken over your life and broken up with your boyfriend may symbolize feelings of jealousy or envy towards aspects of your own identity or relationships. This could be a reflection of your insecurities or concerns about losing someone or something important to you.
The notion of wanting to kill this other version of yourself suggests a desire for control and the need to regain power over your own life. It's important to recognize that dreams often exaggerate our emotions and desires. However, it may be helpful to explore any underlying feelings of insecurity, fear of change, or a need for validation that may be influencing these dream scenarios. Reflecting on these emotions and addressing them in your waking life can help you find a sense of peace and stability.
